Guided Ascent to Lugnaquillia
Enjoy a guided ascent to the summit of Leinster’s Highest Mountain and the Highest Mountain in Ireland outside of Co. Kerry. The walk takes the user friendly route to the summit from Drumgoff Forest Park.

Day 1 - Lugnaquilla Guided

From Drumgoff Forest, we take forestry roads to join up with the Wicklow Way for a short time before taking a path which will lead us through forestry and out on to the Heather Slopes of Carrawaystick Mountain overlooking Kellys Lough and on to Corrigasleegaun with great views into the cliffs of the South Prison and then to the great plateau of Lugnaquilla. We return by the same route.
